Your child has the H1N1 virus! And they’re…smiling?
Apparently “cute and cuddly” is what a certain company, GIANT Microbes, Inc., is going after. They produce plush versions of – you guessed it, microbes!
And while the getting is good, you better check out their newest addition: the H1N1 flu virus. Are you laughing yet? Not sure why but the CDC also thought it would be fun to sell in their gift shop.

Ha! They were a bit disturbing to me at first but apart from being a possible educational toy, I still feel weird about the swine flu being out as a toy already while people are still dying of it.
My boss has the swine flu, seasonal flu, and the clap.

Definitely something to chuckle at – just kind of caught me off guard, but will probably be even cuter after the fiasco is done!
I have to admit I recently bought their version of the chicken pox for my niece. They are pretty cute, if a little odd.
