The moment a doctor diagnoses you with cancer, life changes. You have to come to grips with a life-threatening disease, break the news to your loved ones and start to weigh treatment options.

While the Internet is full of information about cancer, it can be overwhelming. So instead of creating another cancer web site, the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance (SCCA) wanted to create a site that offered hope.
At the website The Day I Found Out, cancer patients can hear directly from cancer survivors about what it was like the day they found out they had cancer, and how they found the strength to fight it.
The video’s are also available at the SCCA YouTube channel.
