@Mike: wow thanks for dropping by with this great link! When I finally purchase a house, one of the first things I will be doing is looking at "green tech" to make sure that I conserve for the environment and for my bank account :)

@Jana: Great point you bring up here. The hardest part about behavior change campaigns is to actually CHANGE people's behavior. The issue has to penetrate the consumers' comfort zone to make it relevant. Especially since Utah is a desert, I can see why it's a tough issue!

Well being from Utah (now living in the District) I think it will be interesting to see if it actually works- Utah has been in a drought forever . . . the state has tried everything to try and get people to save water- stop watering their lawn etc. . . bottom line- people don't care. They will water their lawn if it kills them! Hence why Utah (and the lack of rain) continues to be in a drought. . and I guess seeing that Utah is a desert (which many forget) might have something to do with it!

This is a great commercial! It's really hilarious and useful. I have outfitted my home with water conservation products. I got some from eartheasy.com (here's the link: http://eartheasy.com/shop/water_save.htm) and some other items from my local hardware store. We all need to do our part!!
