Andre, thanks or posting these links… especially the Fast Company list. My wife and I had the incredible opportunity of receiving a tour of the Wake Forest Institute for Regenerative Medicine with Dr. Atala just a few weeks ago. Words cannot describe how awesome this lab truly is. I can only say that it was like stepping inside a science fiction movie, in a good way. We saw bladders, heart valves, bones and arteries, all grown outside of the human body. This man is doing incredible things that are not getting the attention they deserve. Luckily, he is being funded well; hopefully it stays that way. Dr. Atala is a true pioneer, and extremely humble and kind to boot.
